Laurel is a woman who is strong and doesn't take crap from anyone least of all Pax. She's has had enough of his crap and wanted to make that perfectly clear to Pax. It sure didn't go quite as she planned. These two have chemistry that just jump off of the page at you. Pax comes off as this hard man who doesn't care about any woman, he can't have any weaknesses especially with what he does. 

There was oh wow moments in this one that I sure as heck didn't see coming and certain people I just wanted to smack upside the head. Nail biting moments and some mumbling happened too. lol
