The Player by K. Bromberg - she hit it out of the ballpark with this one!

  Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00074]

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg. Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything. So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him. Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on. And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play. But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

MY REVIEW:

I could about cry right now!!! Why??? Why does it end like that???? Total outer body experience, I'm telling you! I was so wrapped up in the lives of Wylder and Scout I wasn't paying attention to the percentage of the book and boom it was done!! SAY WHAT????? What is happening??? NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I fell in love with Wylder and Scout. Wylder's life isn't all rainbow and glitter when from the outside that's what it looks like. He's a good man through and through. He has a great sense of humor, he's the best at what he does until he's injured, he fights for what he wants, he's cocky but not in a bad way. I mean you have to be a little bit cocky when you're the catcher and you have "Thou Shall Not Steal" written on your chest protector. I had to laugh at that!

Scout has so much riding on this rehab. She'll do everything she can to get him where he needs to be. She doesn't plan on falling for "the player", she's always been taught clear mind, clear heart but there's just something about Wylder that does it for her.

"It's the possibility that should keep you going, not the guarantee." A lesson that's hard to learn but the willingness to try should always be there. These two have it in spades. The more that they learn about each other, the more they find to like, and they fall a little bit further in love. I loved watching these two fall in love! It made my heart happy.

I loved Manny!!! He's always been there for Wylder behind the scenes and only watches the greats play. He's like a second dad to him and knows him better than he knows himself sometimes. He knows what Wylder needs before he realizes it himself.

I honestly cannot wait until the next book comes out in this series!!! Ugh come on June!!!
