Synopsis:

It’s the end of summer. Just before I start senior year with my two best friends in the whole world. Dustin and Emily are everything to me. We’ve been inseparable since middle school, and when we’re together, nothing can go wrong.
But things aren’t always what they seem. Em’s turned into a drunken mess who parties too much. Dustin and I have hooked up a few times―and now he’s ready to take our relationship to the next level. Yet I’m not sure I want things to change. I’m scared if I take it any further with Dustin, our friendship will be ruined forever. Then there’s Ryan. The new guy. He’s hot. He flirts way too much. And Em has totally set her sights on him. So when my best friend betrays me in the worst possible way, guess who’s there to help me pick up the pieces of my broken heart? Ryan. But he’s so confusing. Annoying. Sweet. Sexy. I want to trust him, yet he makes it so hard. What I really want is for everything to go back to the way it was before. Before I found out that best friends make the worst kind of enemies.

MY REVIEW: Ha! If this doesn't remind you of when you were in high school, I sure don't know what will. I honestly wanted to smack these girls lol (I'm truly not a violet person but geez, I wanted to smack some sense into them!)

Who needs enemies when you have your best friend who is now your enemy? They know  what to do to hurt you the most. Em is a manipulative high schooler that feels that everything should be about her.

I pretty much was telling Olivia, no, just no. Don't do it. Even though you're comfortable with a guy doesn't mean that you're in love with him. If it doesn't feel 100% right to be with him, listen to yourself, don't do it!

Olivia is being pulled in so many different directions by what she feels and she doesn't want to hurt anyone. She knows Dustin but then she meets Ryan. Hot Ryan who can have any girl he wants and pretty much does. They have an instant attraction but he's hanging with Em and doing other things with her too. Em and Ryan both say it's not serious, they're not boyfriend and girlfriend.

You have 2 girls and 2 boys, it sounds like it should be fairly obvious how that's going to turn out. BUT you'd pretty much be wrong. It's not that easy. There's tough decisions to be made, friendships that are going to be strained. Will those friendships stand the test of this hot mess?

I'll be reading the next book to find out how this drama unfolds. I need to know lol
