Oh wow!!! What do you do when you've pushed away your soul mate because you weren't ready for them? Do you feel like that they should give you a second chance? Have you changed or are you still the same as you were back then?

When Ever finally finds his Marlo, he finds that the girl he fell in love with has changed. She still has the snarky mouth, more gorgeous than she was, but she's changed her outlook on life. She gives parts of herself to her job, to her few friends that she has. No one really knows Marlo, she hasn't spilled her secrets to anyone and she doesn't want to. She thinks she's fine the way she is. THEN Ever comes back into the picture.

Ever's made something of himself, he's changed also. He's gotten stronger, knows what he wants and is going to fight to get it. No matter what it takes, he's going to prove to Low that he's the man for her.

These two break my heart. The pull and push of their relationship, had me mumbling, there were tears involved. These two belong together and you're rooting for them from the first book and definitely this book to work it out. Low is perfectly happy in just using Ever for sex but he wants more. So much more, he wants it all. He wants what he threw away years ago. He wants to make it up to her BUT there's more than he knows.

Watching these two fight their demons and come out stronger is very inspirational and makes your heart squeeze. Loved this duet!!
